U R ART at Liechtenstein National Museum

21.09.2019 - 21.09.2019

The contribution of Liechtenstein National Museum to the smARTplaces U R ART project has taken an interesting shape! They have collected great and inspirational contributions from guests coming from Austria, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Israel, Switzerland, Hungary, France, the USA and other countries.

The visitors, who have been inspired by their special exhibition 1719 – 300 Years of the Principality of Liechtenstein and who have left a contribution in form of a drawing, are all different ages ranging from pre-school children to senior citizens.

Their creative approach has engaged also well-known personalities like visual artist Alex Doll, director of Moskow Museum for Modern Art, Vasili Tsereteli and pianist Tatjana Worm-Sawosskaja who have participated in the project and left their contributions.

All collected drawings (or texts) are, and will be, photographed by photographer Sven Beham and used for a video animation. An original piece of music will also be created to accompany this animation. Responsible for the video animation and the production of the film music is the long-term employee and internationally very experienced artist Vlado Franjevic.

On the 21st of September from 3:00 p.m., Liechtenstein National Museum will show the project to the interested public in the media room of the museum. This presentation will be moderated by Mathias Ospelt, one of the country’s best-known contemporary author and cabaret artist who always provides top-class fun on national, regional and international stages. He will interpret a selection of the original drawings in his own way and motivate the audience to follow and discuss his interpretations whilst encouraging them to make their own interpretations.
