Urban blind date – Challenges

The project is divided in 5 modules, each 2 or 3 weeks long. The first module was to start working with instagram, to say hello to the other groups and to present the group, the city, the institution, maybe the region. From the second module onwards, there is a special challenge that one of the groups develops and posts on Instagram for the other groups. All groups make films or photos for that assignment and post them on the Instagram account. One recent example for the challenge from ZKM, Karlsruhe / Germany: ‘Create an artificial map of your city with five ledgers.’ Choose between these categories: everyday life with time specification, touristic places, cultural and artistically places, favourite food, interesting persons, favourite spots Current challenge is from Musée de Picardie, Amiens / France and has to be solved from all groups until 2nd June 17. A vivid picture book is growing, telling new stories about culture, life and youngsters – visible online. Apart of that the partner institutions learn to tackle with social media as a tool for cultural education and participation.
